About Me & The Workshop
I have always believed that a mechanical concept is only as good as its real-world execution. You can draw anything on a screen, but you don't truly
understand a mechanism until you hold it in your hand, test its tolerances, and see how it handles real friction, stress, and wear.
My path to setting up this specialized development workshop was built on years of direct, hands-on experience in global manufacturing hubs.
From the Factory Floor to the Workbench
Before focusing entirely on my workshop, my daily work involved traversing industrial zones across Asia—from the Pearl River Delta to emerging hubs like Vietnam.
I spent my time auditing production facilities, monitoring complex manufacturing runs, and communicating directly with factory engineers over assembly lines.
That background gave me a rare perspective that traditional designers lack. I didn't just learn engineering from a textbook; I learned it by seeing exactly how
products fail during mass production, how tolerances clash, and where designs get "lost in translation" between a drawing and a factory machine.
My Workshop Focus Today
Today, I use that lifelong manufacturing background to help inventors, businesses, and creators get their mechanical concepts right from the start. Inside my workshop,
I step away from mass-production management to focus entirely on:
- Analytical Research & Experimentation: Testing raw mechanical ideas to see if they are physically viable.
- Prototyping & Testing: Building physical components by hand and pushing them to their limits to expose weaknesses early.
- Refining for Production: Modifying designs so that when they eventually leave my bench for a factory, they are optimized for clean, high-quality manufacturing.
I keep a straightforward, no-nonsense approach to my work. When you collaborate with me, you are working directly with the guy at the workbench who is testing your parts,
cutting the materials, and refining your mechanisms.
