Asia Sourcing was set up in May 2005 bringing a wealth of experience from many manufacturing fields in watch and clock making, toys, switches, fabricated parts, underwater camera to name but a few. Being based in Hong Kong, it is easy to visit manufacturing facilities in China (especially the Greater Bay Area), Vietnam and other places in Asia.
* Concept design - From an intial sketch we can create the mechanical design with 3D modelling and then output to 3D printing and CNC for proof of concept evaluation. Projects for clients to date include toy mechanisms, watch case design, small mechanical devices.
* Reverse engineering & Product improvements - Where a product that needs improving because of bad design, lack of function, bad ergonomic outlook, or requires additional features to make the product more marketable.
* Product improvements - Where the product is difficult to manufacture and a new approach is needed with different jigs & fixtures, redesign of certian component parts with different fabrication techniques or materials.
* Sourcing - Normally the client has already sourced a product or idea, but the product needs to be tweaked in some way or the outlook changed a bit with minor design changes or appearance modified to meet a certain requirement.
* Product checking at factory - Online assembly & sub-assembly, Checking fabricated parts, Incoming parts checking, making a report with suggestion for improvements
